Conservative Activist Jenn Pellegrino Launches Defend Forgotten America to Elevate the Voices of America’s Heartland

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Former America First Policy Institute spokesperson Jenn Pellegrino today announced the launch of two new organizations—Defend Forgotten America (DFA) —dedicated to empowering state and local conservative leaders and advancing policies in Washington that reflect the realities of the American heartland.

Born out of the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, DFA will work to strengthen the voice of “forgotten Americans” who have long been overlooked by Washington elites and entrenched bureaucrats.

Defend Forgotten America (DFA) will focus specifically on healthcare policy, with an emphasis on ensuring that health decisions reflect the needs of rural and small urban communities—not the dictates of unelected Washington bureaucrats. DFA will advocate for policies that empower patients, encourage fiscal innovation, and strengthen healthcare delivery in America’s heartland.

“For too long, Washington elites have made decisions about communities they’ve never set foot in,” said Jenn Pellegrino, founder of Defend Forgotten America. “President Trump gave forgotten Americans a voice—and these organizations exist to make sure that voice is never silenced again. We will fight to make sure that the conservative leaders who know their communities best are heard in Washington.”

About Defend Forgotten America (DFA): Defend Forgotten America was founded by former America First Policy Institute spokesperson Jenn Pellegrino to ensure that federal bureaucrats and D.C. insiders hear from the heartland. Our mission is to give working Americans a voice—to ensure that their needs and stories make their way to Washington. We believe DC health policies should reflect community needs and realities for those in rural and small urban America, supporting fiscal innovation and creative solutions that protect rural and small urban communities and help them thrive.
