WASHINGTON, D.C. — Defend Forgotten America (DFA) applauds President Donald Trump and his administration for ending the use of federal Medicaid and CHIP dollars to fund sex-rejecting procedures on children.
For years, the Biden Administration embraced a radical approach that promoted these life-altering interventions for minors and allowed federal healthcare dollars to help pay for them.
President Trump is ending that policy and restoring common sense: taxpayer-funded programs created to care for vulnerable children should protect their health, not finance irreversible procedures with serious long-term consequences.
“President Trump is once again standing up for America’s children when Washington’s political establishment would not,” said Jenn Pellegrino, Founder of Defend Forgotten America. “The Biden Administration put ideology ahead of common sense and allowed taxpayer dollars meant for vulnerable children to fund life-altering procedures. President Trump is putting children, parents, and sound medicine first. Our children deserve the chance to grow up, and Americans should never be forced to bankroll irreversible medical interventions on minors.”
